9/30/2021. We called our sister / sister-in-law for our weekly Zoom meeting and watched another episode of "Curb your Enthusiasm". I advertised FF on Nextdoor.

9/29/2021. The husband took me for a walk around the 'hood (steps = 9.1K, including square dancing). I studied the Plus calls and attended square dancing. My round dance partner was there so we round danced. I basically danced for 2 straight hours!
Our friends that visited brought us a whole plate of delicious brownies😋😋😋🍫. The husband and I are watching a fun TV show: "Curb Your Enthusiasm". Basically, Larry David, the star, is seemingly unable to do anything without committing a huge faux pas!

9/28/2021. The husband took me for a walk around the "'hood (steps = 3.7K). I spent a lot of time cleaning up mail files after having ignored them for a few days 🤪🤪🤪. A package was incorrectly delivered to our neighbor and instead of returning it to us, they put it in our mailbox. Our mailman brought it to us and let us know that it was NOT a USPS delivery.
I wrote two 5 star reviews for Matt on both Yelp and on Thumbtack & I updated the FF website.

9/27/2021. I hiked with our group at Pichetti Winery (steps = 12.5K) and then we had coffee at Pete's. I shopped at TJ's, got gas at Costco, and updated the FF website. Around 7:45 pm our dryer repair person, Matt, arrived. He basically disassembled the entire dryer and was here until 11:00 pm. Because the dryer is old, purchased in 2007, parts for it are no longer available. The knobs had fallen off because the plastic on the panel failed. So Matt had to create an alternate way to hold those knobs on. He was here until 11:00 pm! I gave him a size able tip.

square dancing). The husband & I
put the untried towels outside on a drying rack & they all dried out in the
sun 🌞 ☀️ ! I studied

9/25/2021. I got up early to bring the seven boxes 📦
in to be shredded. I arrived at 7:50
am. The person there asked me if I knew
that the event wasn’t until 9:00 am; I
told her that I did & she pointed me to a spot where I could be 1st in
line. I was all done and home before

am! I was exhausted 🥱 😴 all day.

& decided to repair the known that was not turning properly. Unfortunately, it fell behind the panel, so I
stuck my screwdriver 🪛
to try to fish it out. I did so without
unplugging the dryer & there was a loud pop 🎆 🎇

9/24/2021. The husband and I shopped at TJ's. We visited the site for tomorrow's shredding event and packed all the boxes to be shredded in the car. I plan to be in line at 8 am.
We had a visit from a delightful couple that I met at square dancing. They toured our yard and then we sat outside and chatted for a long time. They helped me with my unused computer too! I updated the FF web site.

9/23/2021. I scurried around in preparation for the cleaners and had a nice shower 🚿🧼. I picked more pineapple guavas and distributed them and apples to our cleaners and gardeners. The husband and I shopped at Costco and I washed all the rags from the cleaners. I finished the memorial for Annie LuLu and posted it on FB this evening. I updated the FF web site.
9/22/2021. The husband and I picked all the apples from 3 trees and gathered up the pineapple guavas. I had a nice shower 🧼🚿, studied the Plus calls, and brought the apples and pineapple guavas to dancing. Dancing was great and although my regular partner was not there, I round danced with other partners. I watered all the indoor plants and washed the pots that had the strawberries.

9/21/2021. I went to Stanford for my blood draw. Then the husband & I went to Yogurtland to get me a frozen yogurt as a present 😋😋😋🍨. We then went to Sunnyvale Big 5 Sporting Goods to shop for clothes for him, no success there.
I picked up more pineapple guavas and he made tofu and chili for us 🌶️😋. I wrote Annie LuLu's memorial this evening. I also updated the FF web site.

9/20/2021. I had a wonderful time hiking with our hiking group out at the Palo Alto Baylands. First, two members of our group got lost. We directed them to the correct parking lot and then spent half of the hike decided who to blame for the poor instructions 🤣🤣🤣. I spent the other half of the hike explaining the problem with my motion detector light.
We had coffee and treats at Philz in Palo Alto, very fun. The group decided that I was just being fixated on the light installation and since it works just fine, leave it alone. They all suggested that I focus on using my new computer 💻💻💻! I gave them pineapple guavas too.
The husband made steamed vegetables with tofu 😋😋😋 and together we picked up more pineapple guavas. I planted the strawberry plants that my friend gifted me and I updated the FF web site.

9/19/2021. I shopped at Wal-mart, picked pineapple guavas, and studied square dancing. I attended the Quads dance, great fun! I brought a large amount of pineapple guavas to square dancing, and gave them all away! I FT'd with my sister.

9/18/2021. I attended the Bows & Beaus meeting and the SCVSDA meeting. The meetings started at 10 am and went until 3 pm (looks like a real job 🤪! I washed clothes.
9/17/2021. I geo-cached with my partner at Sanborn Park. Unfortunately his app was not working properly so we only found 2 geo-caches out of a possible 6 that he targeted (steps = 14.4K).. I didn't get home until 4 pm 😞! Needless to say, the husband was unhappy and so was I. When I returned home, the husband and I removed thebroken motion detector spotlight on the back shed and replaced it. I'm not happy with the wonky way we had to install it, but it works.

9/16/2021. The husband took me for a nice hike around the 'hood (steps = 8.4K) & I said my prayers 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻. We had a Zoom call with our sister / sister-in-law and I also FT'd with my sister. I luckily was outside when the end of one of our drip hoses blew out and I was able to put it back together again.

9/15/2021. I took some letters to the post office, added fungicide to the water featrues, and FT'd with my sister. I had a nice shower 🧼🚿, studied the Plus calls and danced with the club. Our round dance cuer was there also so I danced for almost the entire two hours. I was exhausted. Both my Plus dancing and my round dancing with my partner were average. I brought figs and pineapple guavas to the dance.
My sister discovered that our cousin contracted COVID 🦠 😢😢😢. He thought he'd contracted it earlier and did not get the vaccine 💉.

9/14/2021. The husband took me for a hike around the 'hood (steps = 5K). I filled out my ballot and dropped it off. I also distributed figs & apples to a friend and visited with her. I gave figs to our neighbor also. I FT'd with my sister and we conferenced called her friend whose husband is suffering from some unknown ailment.

9/13/2021. I hiked with the group today (steps = 13.2K) and then we had coffee at Pete's. I shopped at TJ's. In the evening I picked figs & apples to distribute.
9/12/2021. Happy birthday to the husband 🥳🎂🎊🎈🎉🎆! We went out to Shoreline at Michaels and unfortunately they are closed for remodeling. We then had lunch at Le Boulanger in Los Altos and walked around town a bit. Afterwards, the husband fixed the latch on the shed and I pruned the pineapple guavas that were overhanging the sidewalk. I also put fungicide in the two water features.
9/11/2021. Today we observed the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 event 😭😭😭. I recorded a few programs. I went to Safeway to get a card for the husband's birthday tomorrow & also found him some birthday treats: a bag of Frito's and a slice of cake! I washed clothes and we did a statement reconciliation with receipts. I took out the steamer and attempted to steam clean the algae out of one of our water features. The steaming didn't didn't work very well, but scrubbing, followed by steaming and washing with water did. It looks a lot better.
9/10/2021. I made corrections to the FF web site. I attended a Friday night square dance & round dance event with my partner. We did pretty well considering we haven't round danced in a year and a half. It was great to see some of the people that we haven't seen in a while. Unfortunately, the dance was not well attended.
9/09/2021. I had a nice shower today 🧼🚿. I watered all the indoor plants. The cleaners came today, yah!!!!. We had a Zoom meeting with our sister / siser-in-law, then the gardeners arrived and repaired my broken drip irrigation pipe. The husband took me for a walk around the 'hood (steps = 8.7K). I continued on and said my prayers 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻. There's so many things to pray for: the issues around the fires, hurricanes, flooding, COVID, etc. I updated the FF web site.

9/08/2021. I had a nice shower today 🚿🧼, studied the square dancing calls and attended our club's first meeting since COVID-19 at Loyola School. We had four squares and it was great to see everyone again!
9/07/2021. The husband smashed the hard drive from his old computer. That took at least an hour! Meanwhile, I discovered a leak in our drip system which I created when digging out blackberries 😲. I also filled one of the fountains and weeded while I waited for him. We took the computer and recycling to the recycling center. There was already a long line of patrons waiting. We collected $21 🤪🤪🤪!. We shopped at TJ's and dropped off a check at the post office. In the evening, the husband took me for a walk (steps = 6.1K).
9/06/2021. I rested most of today, still tired from the weekend festivities. I updated the FF web site. I took myself for a great walk in the hills and met my friend. We walked together for a little while.

9/05/2021. My sister and brother-in-law arrived at 10 am to repair the door of the back shed. That repair took 3 hours 😲😲😲! I ran out to ACE Hardware to get some new door thresholds; I bought 4 and 1 worked! The husband and I returned the 3 extras. We also returned the neighbor's skill saw with the two new blades we purchased.
I skipped Quads tonight: very tired from the weekend festivities!
9/04/2021. My sister, brother-in-law, husband and I had a nice walk around the hood (steps = 8.5K). I veered off to say my prayers 🙏🏻🙏🏻. Then my sister and I visited our neighbors and toured their newly remodeled home. It is absolutely stunning. My sister & I checked out patio chairs and I did find some that I like. We ordered Chef Chu's for dinner 😋😋😋🍜🥟🍚🥠. My brother-in-law checked out the problems with the dry rot and suggested a pretty big redo of our gutter system. Improper drainage of the roof created the problem. He also checked out the back shed door that wouldn't open. We borrowed the neighbor's skill saw and ran over to Home Depot to buy the proper blade for it, C-clamps and an edge guider. I also bought some needed supplies.

9/03/2021. My sister and her husband arrived today. We toured the yard, then visited a bit, and had a nap. At 6 pm we had a FABULOUS dinner at a local restaurant, The Post. Afterwards, we visited her hotel, Enchante, very nice. I updated the FF web site.

9/02/2021. I had a lovely shower🚿🧼 and visited my wonderful hairdresser 💇🏻♀️ today. I updated the FF web site many times, lots of last minute band changes. I watered all the indoor plants and stayed up way too late watching the musical, Cinderella. Although it received bad reviews, I liked it very much!
9/01/2021. Welcome to September. I geo-cached with my partner at Sanborne Park (steps = 8.5k). We were late getting started due to construction delays. We found 4 geocaches but were unable to make the most interesting one work. That one was controlled by a laser beam! I sent out the club’s meeting notice and attended. I also sent out the final Zoom meeting notes 📝 because we will now be dancing in person. I updated the FF web site.

08/30/2021. The air was good again today. I had lunch at Hobees with my long time friend. It was so delicious 😋. They have a house on the north side of Lake Tahoe and so are worried due to the Caldor fire 🔥. It is so very tragic. I danced with our club out on the patio. Tonight is our last night at that venue then we return to Loyola School. I have a lot of nice friends 👫🏻👭🏻 now at square dancing. I FT'd with my sister and updated the FF web site. The new web site is so difficult to maintain.
08/29/2021. The air was good today! We picked apples 🍏🍎 and figs for our cousins and took them to them. We had a great visit and our cousin served us hot apple kuchen 😋😋😋straight from the oven. I studied the square dancing calls and danced with Quads, great fun!

08/26/2021. I had a nice shower 🧼🚿 and our wonderful cleaners came today. We had our weekly Zoom meeting with our sister / sister-in-law. I took myself for a lovely walk (steps = 8.5K) in the hills and visited with my new friend. I brought him some figs from our garden and he treated me to some Indian sweets 😋. I also said my prayers 🙏🏻. Unfortunately, I didn't finish until well after dark, very scary for me. I took care of some business, not yet resolved.

08/24/2021. My friends from square dancing visited today. My friend brought me lots of strawberry 🍓 plant starts & 6 chocolate 🍫 bars made of Stevia (0 sugar). We picked apples 🍎 🍏, figs, and tomatoes 🍅 for them to take home & had a wonderful visit out on the back porch! I FT’d with my sister.
08/23/2021. I hiked with several of our club members (steps with square dancing = 12.3K). We had coffee afterwards & I shopped at TJ's to buy a Rustic baguette. The husband & I shopped at Costco, I had a brief nap and attended square dancing. It was wonderful. We had 3 squares!
08/22/2021. I did a bit of yard work. I had a nice shower 🚿🧼, studied the square dancing calls and attended Quads. I brought them a lot of apples from our yard. Square dancing was fun, I'm getting better, and still felt a little bit tired today. Quads had three squares.

08/21/2021. The husband took me for a brief walk around the hood (steps = 5K) and then we shopped at TJ's.
I brought figs over to our neighbor and she gave us fresh macaroons 😋 from the oven and fresh applesauce made from our apples 🍎🍏! We did a bit of yard work: cutting spent blooms and picking up fallen apples. I'm feeling almost 💯 percent today!

08/20/2021. Happy birthday 🎉🎂🥳🎈🎊 🎁 to my nephew! Thankfully I feel MUCH better today. I worked out in the yard briefly digging up the rouge blackberry plants. I made big salads 🌶🥬🍅🫑 for myself & the husband 😋. We watched a silly movie 🎥 “Without a Paddle”.
08/19/2021. I was pretty sick today from the COVID-19 shot 🦠💉 : sore arm, lethargic, felt feverish 🤒. We had our usual weekly Zoom meeting with our sister/sister-in-law. I sent in the lease. I rested & thankfully the husband cooked dinner 🥘 tofu & vegetables 🌶🌽.
08/18/2021. I sent out the notice for the club, but did not attend. The husband and I went to our local CVS pharmacy: he got his shingles vaccine # 1 🦠💉and I got my COVID-19 vaccine # 3. Afterwards we had great yogurt treats from Yogurt-land.
I rested and in the evening we watched the final episode of the UFO 🛸👽 documentary. I finished writing the lease extension.

08/17/2021. A handyman came by this morning but declared that he was not the right person to do the repairs we need😮💨. I was exhausted from yesterday's activities. I helped the husband find a place to get his shingles shot administered. I watered all the indoor plants and replaced the drip emitters on the remaining four hydrangeas. Another big branch fell from the cedar tree! The husband is very worried about that tree. I FT'd with my sister and we also talked to our friend. We watched another episode of the UFO 🛸👽 series, great fun & quite interesting. I updated the FF website.
08/16/2021. I hiked with our hiking group (steps = 18.7K) at the new Bear Creek Open Space Preserve. It is beautiful there: two old growth redwoods, a running creek, lots of large madrones. Then I rested and attended the class dance. That was great fun! I updated the FF website.

08/15/2021. The husband & I went out to the new Google “tent” buildings on Shoreline. They are quite interesting, with the roof studded by things that look like dragon 🐉 scales. I fertilized & applied iron on the orange 🍊 tree I studied the square dancing calls & danced tonight. I did OK. The husband & I watched another episode of UFO 🛸. I FT’d with my sister. They lost all their power from 8 pm yesterday until 3:00 🕒 pm today! She has much of her food on ice 🧊 and some of it refrigerated via a generator. I sent out the meeting notice for the club.
08/14/2021. I attended our club’s meeting this morning. It appears that we’ve found a lovely dance venue for an extremely reasonable price! The husband & I did a walk through of his condo. Everything looks good. My friend that I met up in Los Altos Hills a few weeks ago & his daughter came over to visit. I gave them a tour of the garden and sent them home with apples 🍎🍏, tomatoes 🍅, and an orange 🍊. We did two loads of wash 🧼.
08/13/2021. Happy birthday to my niece 🎉🎂🎈🎊🎁🥳! She was born on Friday the 13th and her birthday today is Friday the 13th. I remember my Mom commenting on how dare she show up on Friday the 13th!
I called Comcast to complain about the recordings on the Apple devices. The video stops and only the audio continues playing. They are blaming it on Apple.

08/12/2021. I had a lovely shower 🚿🧼. Our wonderful cleaners came & I washed all their supplies. We had a Zoom call with our sister / sister-in-law and the gardeners came too. I filled the basins of our water features and "power washed" the algae from the rocks.

08/11/2021. We got up to send off our cousin this morning. My geocache partner and I geo-cached at Sanborn County Park. Unfortunately, he fell and hurt both his elbow (bleeding) and this knee. We looked for a few geo-caches, but due to very poor phone reception, we were unable to find any. I believe this is the first time that we came back empty-cached. The husband & I shopped at Costco in Redwood City and I filled up my car.
I sent out the club meeting notice and attended.

08/10/2021 I installed four of the increased gallons per hour (gph) emiiter ends on our front hydrangeas. I also did some other gardening. We picked apples for our visiting cousin's Dad and had a nice dinner 😋 from Chef Chus .
08/09/2021 I had a great hike today our at Don Edwards Park with our hiking group (steps = 11.5K). I scurried around the house to get everything cleaned up for our cousin's visit.
I attended square dancing class which was great!
We had a lovely visit with our cousin and got to dry run her presentation. She is a theoretical physicist with a specialty in quantum computing, so most of the presentation was way above our heads. Her dad sent us a HUGE bag of walnuts, and they are absolutely delicious 😋 . I filled up FOUR gallon freezer bags. and we froze them.

08/07/2021 I attended our Club's meeting today. The husband vacuumed and I steamed all the cat furniture and little throw rugs. I had a lovely shower 🚿🧼 and had my hair done by my wonderful hairdresser 💇🏻♀️. I FT'd my sister and updated the FF web site (haven't resigned yet).

08/06/2021 After conferencing with the sister and the husband, I've decided to stop maintaining the FF web site. As they migrate to their own hosted site, I do not want to be responsible for contacting the hosting company when something happens. I've witnessed my husband assisting his clients and often it is a very frustrating and long ordeal to get problems resolved.
The sister & I called our cousin to see how he was recovering from his spine surgery. It turns out that he didn't have to have it just yet. The doctor put him on a medication that rolled back the pain & even after he stopped the medication, the pain has not returned 🙂!
I took myself for a long walk in the hills (steps = 7.3K). On top of the hill, I met a wonderful gentleman, 91 years old, who invited me to sit on his porch with him. We had a very lovely visit. His daughter lives a few blocks away from me and he's promised to visit.

08/05/2021 We had a Zoom call with our sister & sister-in-law and told her the news a about Annie LuLu. Annie’s wonderful vet, Dr. Neal sent us a bouquet of flowers in sympathy 💔. I FT’d with my sister & we sang Happy Birthday to my brother-in-law. Our neighbor & friend came over & I showed him the trick with the tomatoes 🍅. I also gave him some Christmas 🎄 ornaments & hangers for his tomato 🍅 plants. There was a lot of drama over the FF web site because it wasn’t working. I’m conflicted as to whether I’m going to continue to work on it.

08/04/2021 II got up early to do the returns at Wal-Mart, mission success. Then I went to Safeway to do the two returns there: their return department doesn't open until 9 am. At the appointed time, I returned to Safeway and completed the return. Dsoto Tree Service came today with their giant "articulating boom lift" and finished cleaning up. . I had a nice visit with "Papa", Daniel's DadThe husband and I shopped at Costco. I sent out the notice for the club meeting and attended. I washed clothes & watered the phalaenopsis (overdue 😞).

08/03/2021 This morning we got up to see the damage from the tree fall. The house is intact, and a gutter was badly damaged. I called our tree person, Daniel at Dsoto Tree Service. He rearranged his schedule so he could get out here to deal with these branches.. They started work just after 1 pm.
I FT'd my sister too in the midst of all of this.
The husband took me for a nice walk around the 'hood and I continued and said my prayers 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 (Steps = 10.8K).
Later, I studied my square dancing and attended class. Afterwards, I went to Wal-Mart to return the box of cat food I purchased on-line. Customer service closes at 8 pm 😞! I bought what I could (ice cream for the husband) and returned home.

08/02/2021 I had a lovely hike with friends at Sanborn County Park in Saratoga and then coffee and a delicious chocolate treat at the Big Basin Cafe in downtown Saratoga. It was wonderful. I saw someone outside petting a Maine Coon so afterwards I asked about it. The kitty is a "feral" kitty, and has been adopted by two shops. He is fed, taken in at night, and provided with vet care. He's very friendly to those he knows. Such fun!
Afterwards, I shopped at TJ's. We talked to our friend who had a very un-nerving medical event happen to her over the weekend. Fortunately, she is much better!
Later, I watched the square dancing videos and attended square dancing (steps = 14K).
At 1 am, we awoke to a very loud crash. A very large branch from our cedar tree broke off and took more branches with it.

08/01/2021 My good friend came over to visit. She brought me tomatoes, labelled all the geraniums that she gave me and we had a lovely visit in the garden.

07/31/2021 This is the day after 😢😢😢. The husband took me for a walk around the 'hood and we had lunch at Hobees. We finished washing, folding, and storing all the kitty towels. .Our cousins came over to pick apples. I FT'd with my sister, Very sad day.

07/30/2021 The husband got up at 4 am to talk to me about Annie LuLu. She had an accident and is so very weak. We made the decision that today is the day. I cancelled the geocaching and walk with my partner and made calls. I located a wonderful mobile vet, Dr. Chas Alves. He came over and by 7 pm we had helped Annie LuLu cross over the rainbow 🌈 bridge. It was a very peaceful crossing. I hadn't been able to talk all day but in the evening, I FT'd with my sister. Afterwards, the husband and I removed ALL the towels from all the chairs and beds ad washed them. It's the first time we've seen our furniture in many years.
07/29/2021 I scurried around to pick up the house for the cleaners, had a nice shower 🛁🧼. The house looks great. Annie LuLu is not doing well. Now she is not even eating the juice of the canned cat food 😢 and is so weak.
07/28/2021 I sent out the notice for the club meeting & attended. The husband took me for a nice walk around the 'hood & I said my prayers 🙏🏻 (steps = 4.3K). I FT'd my sister to share my concerns about the COVID-19 🦠 Delta variant. It's quite scary 😧! I watered the plants & prepared for the cleaners.

07/27/2021 I went to the post office to mail a form & also updated the financial records. The Christmas 🎄 ornament deception appears to be working! I studied the “Plus” calls again and danced with ECR. It was great because my good friend was there! It was delightful to see her & dance with her!

07/26/2021 I hiked with our group at Rancho (steps = 16.2K). Afterwards, we had coffee, I stopped off at the bank 🏦, & shopped at TJ’s. It’s great to be able to just pop into a store 🏬 these days without going through the entire COVID-19 protocol. The food for the cat 🐱 & the can juice strainer arrived today. The strainer works very well & I strained out a whole can. I studied all the “Plus” square dance calls & square danced this evening, very FUN!

07/25/2021 I sent out the Zoom meeting notice for the club. I gardened, pulling weeds, trimming the birds of paradise, and digging up blackberries. I placed red Christmas 🎄ornaments on the tomatoes 🍅 in the hopes of tricking the squirrels 🐿 . I had a nice shower 🚿 🧼 .
07/24/2021 I tripped over an electric cord and fell. Very scary! The husband took me to Safeway so I could buy more food for the kitty.
Drawn in by the wonderful music, the husband & I crashed our neighbor's lovely party this evening. Fortunately, the host was very kind & invited us in! Then we had a small walk around the hood.

07/23/2021 I brought in more tomatoes to let them ripen inside: it's either me or the squirrels 🐿️! I took myself for a lovely evening hike in the hills (steps = 6.9K) & said my prayers 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 . I FT'd several times with my sister to assist with an issue she was experiencing.

07/22/2021 We had a Zoom meeting with our sister/sister-in-law. I researched how to keep squirrels 🐿 out of tomato 🍅 plants. It appears that the electric fence is the best option. I shopped at TJ’s. It’s so great to be able to shop when we need to, instead of our carefully planned COVID shopping. I updated the FF web site.

07/21/2021 I geocached with two friends near Sanborne Park in Saratoga. We found 5 geocaches! (Steps = 7.3K). We accessed the trails via a one lane gravel road with lots of large mirrors 🪞 to show approaching traffic! Thankfully 😅 we didn‘t have any approaching traffic because the road was so narrow, it would have required a tricky backing up 🤪! I sent out the Club Zoom meeting notice & attended. I FT’d with my sister.

07/20/2021 I scrubbed the algae from our two water features. The squirrels 🐿 have discovered my tomatoes 🍅 & I will need to install a deterrent, probably an electric fence. I attended the ECR square dance. It was fun! I didn’t do my best dancing, however 😢!
07/19/2021 I hiked at Rancho San Antonio with our hiking 🥾 group (steps = 17.9K). I studied the square dance 💃🏻 lessons & danced with the club. It was great!
07/18/2021 Annie LuLu's diarrhea returned and there was a huge mess in the mud room. First we cleaned her up, then the husband cleaned up the floor. I shopped at Wal-mart & steamed the floors. I sent out the notice for the club meeting.
Unfortunately, the squirrels discovered the tomatoes in my raised bed. They are leaving enough for me.

07/17/2021 I washed clothes 🧼👚👕👖. The husband and I went to Esther's German Bakery to pick up some chocolate hazelnut German cake for our friend. Then we drove up to Foster City & had a wonderful visit with her, Buddy the dog, and Teddy & Johnny the cats. Afterwards, the husband filled his car with gas ⛽ at Costco and we shopped. I watered the phalaeonopsis and completely redid the watering schedule on the Rachio.

07/16/2021 I washed 🧼 the kitchen and bathroom throw rugs. The husband took me for a nice walk in the 'hood today, and I continued the hike to say my prayers 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻(steps = 8.7K). We Zoom'd with our sister/sister-in-law and were entertained by more drama from her condo board of directors. I worked on the smell in the coat closet several times today. The husband made delicious vegetarian chili with Tofu 😋😋😋!

07/15/2021 I woke up early packed and left. I stopped at the Gilroy Costco for gas. I arrived home to find out I was locked out 🔐😧! The husband had left for a walk. Then as I unpacked, I noticed this horrible smell from the coat closet. Investigation revealed that the poor kitty had peed in her little bed and it leaked through to the wood floor below. I removed the bed and washed it 4 times to get the odor out. I then prepared for the cleaners, had a lovely shower 🚿🧼 and made an appointment for my hair. I cancelled our 1st Kuaui reservations and booked the new place at Poipu Beach. When I returned from my wonderful hairdresser 💇🏻♀️, I napped. Then I pulled everything out of the coat closet and steam cleaned, using an entire tank full of steam! The smell still remained so I treated the floor with several applications of hydrogen peroxide. I washed 🧼 the supplies used by the cleaners. I unpacked most of the items from my trip.
07/14/2021 I walked with my niece, nephew, and Tazzy in downtown Pacific Grove (steps = 9.5K). I had a delicious macaroon 🍪 . Afterwards, I had a nap, followed by fresh brownies topped with whipped cream 😋😋😋! The fam & I talked about Kuaui and found another place that has air conditioning in all the rooms and is closer to the beach. Some stealth searching found the address of the place. Tomorrow I will cancel the other booking and book this place.

07/13/2021 I watered my indoor plants, cancelled the prescription for Annie LuLu's gabupentin, packed and left for Pebble Beach. It was beautiful there, but quite foggy. I walked on the beach with the fam (steps = 9.4K).

07/12/2021 I hiked with the hiking group at a new park: Bear Creek Open Space reserve (steps = 14.6K). It was lovely. We found old growth redwoods (2!) and also a small snake. There were HUGE madrone trees in this park. Later, I danced with the club. I went to bed early.

07/11/2021 I had a nice shower 🚿🧼, studied all the "plus" square dance calls and danced with Quads this evening. The husband cooked some delicious corn 😋😋🌽.

07/10/2021 I worked out in the yard for a bit. It was very hot and later I had another nose-bleed. The husband and I had "the honest conversation" about Annie LuLu. We are both heartbroken to see her in this state. She is eating very little and we have tried all manner of food. I went to bed early. I watched the Tomorrow War, but didn't really care for it.

07/09/2021 I ordered the Gabupentin for Annie LuLu, shopped at TJ’s, & had a walk in the hills (steps = 9.8K). I also said prayers 🙏🙏🙏. I tried several things to correct the FF web site issue … no luck. I created screen prints of the problem & sent them to my contact.

07/08/2021 We had our weekly Zoom meeting with our sister / sister-in-law. The wonderful cleaners came today to apply "Murphy Oil" to all of our cabinets and doors. They look great. A square dancing friend came over to tour our garden. She is getting her front yard redone and wanted some ideas.
I updated the FF web site and it's still not updating properly. When I'm signed into the site, all looks perfectly fine and afterwards, it changes 😒😒😒!
The husband made delicious vegetarian chili with tofu 😋😋😋!
I washed two loads of clothes, mostly the rags used by the cleaners. I also updated our financials.

I made many calls to the vet to get Annie LuLu some pain medication. I don't think she's in any pain, but I want to give it to her as a precaution.
I had a dial in meeting to teach me how to make changes to the new FF web site. I spent a lot of time afterwards making changes, most of it operator error. I then discovered that the site is not updating properly 😒😒😒!

07/06/2021 I discovered that because of the way the new FF site was constructed, it was impossible to edit. Fortunately, my contact fixed it.
The husband and I drove to Redwood City, I got gas, we shopped, and he had pizza and ice cream 🍕🍦 😋. I helped him with the ice cream 😋.
I updated the FF web site, but there are a few things I need to figure out.
We watched "The Secrets of Skinwalker Ranch". This time they send a bunch of rockets up from 2k feet to 8K feet and things 👻👻👻 started happening!
07/05/2021 The husband took me for a walk around the ‘hood (steps = 11K). I veered off & said my prayers 🙏🙏🙏! I watered all the indoor plants, made more food for our sick kitty, then attended the Bows & Beaus dance. It was great fun!

07/03/2021 Baby Ellie’s book about the baby hippo 🦛 Fiona arrived today! I wrote an inscription & also updated and printed out the story of the hippo Fiona who lives at the Cincinnati zoo. The husband & I attended the party 🎉 🎊 & it was so wonderful! It was great to see our cousins who hosted it and their son, daughter-in-law & new baby! The meal was literally a gourmet meal with 5 courses. They BBQ’d tofu just for me!
I created & sent out our Fourth of July greetings & watered the phaeleonopsis.
07/02/2021 I "cache-danced" with my partner at Quarry Park in Saratoga (steps = 12.7K). It was a beautiful day. I made an Angel for baby Ellie that we will meet tomorrow. I organized garden pictures into a photo album to send with our 4th of July greetings. I miss my photo album organizer software.

07/01/2021 Welcome to July! The husband and I (especially me) ran around the house and got things ready for the cleaners. I removed all boxes off of my craft room floor and processed them .... tore off labels and filed appropriately and recycled the cardboard.
The cleaners were here for several hours getting this house back in shape. Afterwards, I steamed the slate, the mud room, and the crafts room. I also washed the throw rugs, rags, and mop covers. We had a Zoom meeting with our sister / sister-in-law and I FT'd with my sister. I was quite tired from having stayed up way too late last night. I updated the FF web site.
