07/27/2026. I talked to my friend from our walking group. I didn’t see his message and he was worried about me. We had a lovely conversation. I washed clothes and FT’d with my sister 👩🏻. The husband played bridge ♠️♥️♣️♦️.
07/26/2026. The husband took me for a lovely walk around the ‘hood. We met some of our favorite doggies, they are 3 large bull mastiffs. They are very sweet doggies!

07/24/2026. The husband took me for a walk and I filled up and cleaned the fountains ⛲️.
07/23/2026. I my wonderful dentist 🦷 today and afterwards I whitened my teeth. I talked to my friend about my hair problem and also FT’d my sister 👩🏻 .
07/22/2026. I had a nice shower 🧼🚿 and attended club. I had fun! Afterwards, I drove a friend home.
07/21/2026. I completed the arrangements for our trip and ordered a special present for our cousin’s birthday. I FT’d with my sister 👩🏻. It was VERY HOT 🥵 today, so we were not able to walk.

07/17/2026. I returned my item at Whole Foods and shopped at Safeway. I also posted 4 event announcements for the square dance community. The husband played bridge ♠️♥️♣️♦️with his friends.
07/16/2026. Happy birthday to my cousin, a milestone birthday 🎉🎂🥳🎈🎊🎆! The husband took me for a nice walk around the ‘hood and we visited the school yard where the dogs congregate to play. We petted 4 dogs! I FT’d with my sister 👩🏻 and received unfortunate news. My great niece and her boyfriend of 3 years have split. The whole family adored her boyfriend so we are very sad 😔.
07/15/2026. I watered the indoor plants and the phaleonopsis. I had a nice shower 🚿🧼. We got ready for our cleaners and they came today. The house looks great! I studied the Plus calls and attended Club. Honestly, I did not have very much fun 😢.
07/14/2026. I washed two loads of clothes and it was VERY hot 🥵 again. We are so grateful that we have air conditioning. I also paid some bills. I worked on the tree trimming project at the rental.

06/05/2026. I worked on my laptop 💻 and really, really dislike Windows 11. I struggled to get the CD/DVD device mounted, and finally did. I backed it up also.
06/04/2026. The husband took me for a nice walk around the ‘hood. We had a long conversation with our cousin about swapping ranch acreage. I’m still not sure what to do.
06/03/2026. I studied the Plus calls and attended Club. I was a squarehead so had to be there quite early. I enjoyed being a squarehead 👍.
06/02/2026. We got ready for the house cleaners, I had a nice shower 🧼🚿, and watered all the indoor plants. The house is clean and I washed all the rags and mop heads
06/01/2026. Welcome to June! I walked at Rancho with our hiking 🥾 group and had a VERY DIFFICULT 😣 time. My upper arms and back hurt from scrubbing the fountains ⛲️. I got gas ⛽️ at Costco and shopped there. I FT’d with my sister 👩🏻.

05/31/2026. We had a nice phone call with my sister-in-law 👩🏼. I continued cleaning the outdoor fountains. They are getting there. I played sudoku & the husband played bridge ♠️♥️♣️♦️. He and his partner won 🥇 today!

05/29/2026. I had a nice shower 🧼🚿 and saw my wonderful hairdresser 💇🏻♀️. I scrubbed the fountains ⛲️ today and played sudoku. I had a call with me sister 👩🏻 to explain the recommendation from our advisor and also looked up her advice on the net. It’s reasonable.
05/28/2026. We had a meeting with our advisor and finished that project. The husband took me for a nice walk around the ‘hood.

05/17/2026. We loosened the bolts on the wagon, per reviews I read and the husband found a space for it in the garage. We had a brief walk around the ‘hood, brief because it was EXTREMELY windy 💨 , and a little scary (falling tree limbs).
05/16/2026. The husband and I shopped at Safeway and assembled our new Gorilla wagon. It took us about an hour to put it together. We do like the wagon.

05/15/2026. I scrubbed the fountains ⛲️ again and will need to continue doing that.
05/14/2026. I took the husband to get his car 🚗 serviced. The owner of Sunnyvale Foreign Auto Service jars 2 golden retrievers, Xander and Hondo. They are both extremely friendly. One of the folks who works there brings his dog, Rodney. I spent a lot of time with these three wonderful dogs! I filled up both of the fountains ⛲️ and scrubbed them using a drill and a wire brush attachment. It goes fast, but is tiring holding up the drill.
05/13/2026. I FT’d with my sister 👩🏻 to brief her on the information we received from our financial consultant. I studied the Plus calls and attended Club. It was great fun 🤩. I drove a friend home also.
05/12/2026. I had a nice shower 🧼🚿 and we met with our financial consultant. His flight ✈️ was delayed and he had a long wait for his rental car 🚘. Since it was late, we decided to eat at Rosotti’s Alpine Inn. We got a seat right by the stream and it was a perfect 😍 day. We all loved it there and next year he’s going to bring his family with him. That will be one of their destinations.
05/11/2026. I had a great hike 🥾 but really struggled. I hiked yesterday and got VERY dehydrated. I also forgot to take my Aleve this am. We had coffee ☕️ at Peet’s and I shopped at TJ’s.

05/10/2026. Happy 29th anniversary to us 💍👰🏻🤵🏼♂️🎂!. We exchanged cards and had a long walk in the hills. It was a lovely anniversary and we received lots of well wishes! Because it was also Mother’s Day, we elected not to go out for lunch. I sent out a lot of Mother’s Day texts.

05/08/2026. I had a nice shower 🚿🧼 and saw my fabulous hairdresser 💇🏻♀️. She squeezed me in because it was Mother’s Day weekend and a lot of her clients wanted hair appointments. The husband took me for a nice walk around the ‘hood and we met up with and walked with one of our neighbors.
05/07/2026. The husband and I shopped at Costco and I talked to my sister 👩🏻. My brother-in-law will end another operation on one of his eyes.

05/06/2026. I made a few business phone 📞 calls and caught up on this blog after a hiatus of 3 weeks. After some research, I also figured out an improved method for placing blog pictures side-by-side.
05/05/2026. Happy Cinco De Mayo 🇲🇽! I watered all the indoor plants and got ready for our cleaners. I had a nice shower 🧼🚿! The house looks great and I washed the mop heads and cleaning cloths.
05/04/2026. I had a wonderful hike 🥾with my friends at Rancho San Antonio (steps = 11.5K). We had coffee ☕️ afterwards at Peet’s. I watered the phaleonopsis.

04/16/2026 to 05/03/2026. It’s been a busy few weeks. My sister 👩🏻, brother-in-law, and niece stayed with us for a few days. The three of us girls went to an Il Volo concert 🎵🎶🎤 in downtown San Jose and had a wonderful time! Il Volo is an Italian opera group that has performed together for 15 years and this is now the 4th Il Volo concert that we attended.

We also went to the theatre and saw “Project Hail Mary”, a wonderful movie 🎥! This is “Rocky” the alien from the planet “Erid” celebrating 🎉! He is visiting the earthling, Rylan Graces’, spaceship 🚀.
We had lunch at Hobbes with the niece and also lunch with friends at Crouching Tiger in Redwood City. The food was excellent and I had two leftover meals.

04/15/2026. Happy tax day 😫😫 💸! I had a nice shower, studied the Plus calls, finished unpacking my suitcases 🧳 and attended club. I also drove a friend home.

04/12/2026. We drove home and the drive was very easy. When I got home I discovered that my iPad was missing. We search high and low for it to no avail 😩😩😩! I called the hotel but they said that if it was left there it’s locked in the office and could not be accessed until tomorrow.
04/11/2026. Today is the big birthday 🥳🎊🎉🎂🎈🎁 party my sister gave me! She had a full sit down dinner with lasagna, fruit salad, regular salad, lot of hors d’oevres, and of course cakes! It was a fabulous party, the best I’ve ever had!

04/10/2026. I shopped at White House Black Market and found an outfit for my birthday party. We visited with my cousins who are in town for the party too!
04/09/2026. I finished packing and we left for the party. There was a lot of traffic and it took us 3 1/2 hours to arrive. We checked in to our hotel 🏨 and then visited my sister and brother-in-law and the cousins. My sister 👩🏻 prepared a lovely meal for us!
04/08/2026. Happy birthday to me 🥳🎂🎉🎈💐🎊! I received a lot of cards, presents 🎁, e-mails and texts. My sister 👩🏻, cousin, and niece all called me too. I used my new wire brushes that attach to the drill to continue scrubbing our fountains⛲️. They are looking pretty clean! It was a great day. I danced at Club and drove my friend home. I watered the phaleonopsis orchids.
04/07/2026. I watered the indoor plants and prepared the house for the cleaners. I had a nice shower 🚿🧼. The cleaning folks came and the house looks great! I washed a huge load of clothes. I also continued to scrub the outside fountains ⛲️.
04/06/2026. I scrubbed the outside fountains ⛲️ again. We are getting there! I paid all the tax bills 💵. I also put together the luggage 🧳 racks that I purchased. They are all wood and quite sturdy!
04/05/2026. Happy Easter 🐣 and happy birthday 🎊🎈🎉🎁🥳🎂 to my friend. I send out Easter texts and scrubbed the fountains ⛲️ with the wire brush I recently acquired. It did an excellent job, but is very tiring. I just ordered some wire brushes that attach to our drill so we’ll see how that works. I FT’d with my sister 👩🏻.

04/01/2026. Happy April Fools’s day 🃏! I sent out my usual prank and unfortunately the prank was easily guessed. Our cousin from Utah visited and took us out to lunch at Hobees. Then we came here to give him a tour of our yard. We had a wonderful visit!
